Since 1999, we’ve been helping students find their perfect property in Chester. We don’t like to brag, but we’ve got a bit of a rep for providing first class accommodation with a great price and service to match. We work closely with people much more important than us, like the County Council, Chester University, the local Fire Service and the Council Council Private Sector Housing Office, to make sure all of our houses are super safe for our students.

Hoots were my landlords from 2019 up until the summer of this year and they were nothing but fantastic. Really nice people who provide a great space for students in Chester. I genuinely think my overall university experience would have been completely different (for the worse) if I didn’t have such considerate and understanding landlords. I had a great four years in Chester and for three of them hoots provided a place that I made some brilliant memories. If we ever had a problem they’d try to sort it to the best of their abilities and were willing for us to pop in and have a chat whenever we could. Would highly recommend for any student thinking of renting in Chester. :)

I signed a house with Hoots for two years during my degree, and i found the landlords incredibly friendly and accommodating (including placing seating and a barbecue free of charge in our outdoor area). They were very approachable regarding any maintenance issues - which were always sorted quickly - and they were very understanding throughout covid. Overall i couldn't recommend a better student accommodation company in Chester than Hoots.

Hoots is a friendly and supportive student landlord. Their houses are clean and spacious. I rented my accommodation from them for two years and would highly recommend them to any student going to Chester University.

Hoots are by far the best Student Accommodation is Chester! They are so friendly and treat you like part of the family!
Any issues? They are there so fast to help, couldn't ask for better landlords. Having any problems in the house, with money or people they are always there to help.
You can see that they genuinely care about their students and don't just see them as profit. I cannot thank them enough for making my university experience great - even throughout these hard Covid times.

Hoots is by far the best student renting company in Chester! Living in a Hoots home is an experience I would recommend to anyone, the homes are so luxurious and you really feel like you are living in a lovely, proper home, an experience hard to come by as a student, and with such good value as well! Also the Hoots staff are some of the loveliest, most friendly people, and you really feel like you can come to them with any issue and they'll be receptive. I cannot recommend Hoots highly enough, and if you're thinking of living in a Hoots home, please do it, you won't regret it!

Hoots make the process so easy from start to finish! Accommodating viewing process, no pressure and super easy signing, no deposits or fees and everything clean and tidy for move in day! Deal with any issues ASAP and are always quick to respond to any questions. Welcoming and friendly staff at the office where you can pop in even just for a chat and cuppa! No better place to be ?

Home away from home!
Easy signing process, no deposit and super friendly staff!
Any maintenance issues are resolved quickly as landlords truly care for the tenants and properties.
It was hard to find a 8 bed house in Chester but Charlotte helped us every step of the way to find one close to the university and close to the city centre!
So happy we decided to sign with hoots!

Could not recommend Hoots enough. They own the houses themselves rather than just representing other landlords. If there's ever an issue with the house they cannot go further out of their way to help you and will deal with it asap. Always in regular contact with their tenants and very visible on social media alongside their dogs Bertie and Boris. Perfect people to go with when looking for a house with their office on Garden Lane.

Absolutely amazing company to sign with, goes far beyond any housing company (especially a student one) to make sure the houses are safe, comfortable and fit for the group living there. Quick to reply to emails and so friendly if you pop in the office (even just to say hello and have a sweet or two). Lucky to have around a gorgeous house with them! Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Hoots are just amazing! Myself and my partner were struggling to find a house that was at a reasonable price, we lost all hope until hoots came along and found us one! They are the most friendly and reliable staff, and will support you in all aspects into making your living experience with them them enjoyable!

After viewing a range of houses, Hoots showed us (my housemates and I) the perfect house, in the perfect location, with great facilities and a flexible payment system. Any issues we've had (whether accommodation or finance related) the team have been incredibly accommodating with great customer service and a quick response time.
Can't state enough how great they've been, and really happy to say we've signed with them again for the coming academic year!

Living in a hoots house for the first time this year. A couple months in now and the experience has been great. The house has everything we need. Everything is clean, safe and tidy. Every time I have any questions they are straight to reply always with helpful answers. To top it all off, they feed us sweets and let us cuddle their dogs in the office!! Amazing people and happy to be signing up to another year with them!!

The nicest landlords in the whole of Chester! The house we were in was beyond perfect with good spacious rooms and kitchen/dining room. The landlords were always at hand to help with the smallest of matters. Highly reccommend them!

Easy to sign the contract and the check you understand what you are signing up to! No deposit or payment until the rent! They always check things with the house are ok and are quick to fix things if there are issues! Shame that it took me until third year to rent with them!
